It’s been an exciting week here at OhMyDosh, just 42 days after our launch date on February 1st we hit 10,000 members on the site! We’re really can’t explain to you all how excited we are to see people using the site, making money in their spare time and having fun at the same time! We’ve got so many exciting features launching over the next couple of months and we can’t wait to share them all with you! Today we are going to take a look at how we got here.
*Insert blurry scene transition to represent a flashback*
Flashback to July 2017, an idea is born to create a make/save money website with a difference, a site that works in pounds not points and without a crazy high minimum payout threshold. After many name ideas (which I definitely won’t reveal for the sake of not embarrassing us all) Ben shouted across the office “I’ve got the name. Oh My Dosh!” and the rest is history, as they say, whoever they might be…
A few weeks of perfecting designs lead to the actual site build which involved a lot of coding, meetings and coffee. Whilst our tech gremlins were busy working on being the site we went out and filmed our video ad (which was cruelly overlooked in the best short category at this year's Oscars I might add), which also meant we got to work with the 4th Doctor himself Tom Baker, which was simply awesome!
After what felt like a lifetime, we finally launched on February 1st and the initial responses from users were even better than we could have hoped for. Just 42 days after launch we hit our first big milestone, 10,000 users! It’s amazing seeing how well people have taken to the site and we can’t wait to see where things go from here.
So that leads us to the question where do we go from here? This is just the beginning for OhMyDosh and I like I said earlier, we have so many plans for new features coming to the site over the next couple of months that we think KNOW you’ll love! So watch this space and remember to keep sharing your referral link, you’ll make an extra £5 for each friend that cashes out!
Until next time…
P.S If you haven’t checked out the add yet, I’ve conveniently placed it below.
